Professor Ramos' intention is to create an environment where students can self-discover their highest potential of awareness, patience, and love through their own personal yoga practice. This class will gently work through functional movement patterns in the body (with breath control) to recognize any physical imbalances which translate into our mental state, vice versa. By combining breathing techniques (pranayama) and yoga poses (asanas), Therapeutic Yoga aims to explore movement within a participants' capacity while cultivating a mindful connection between the body, mind and spirit. All your work in the practice will lead up to a meditation soothing the soul--All levels welcome!
